SEO newest idea and astrategy - ORM

Online reputation management is brand new. Every celebrity wants to keep hold of their online reputation by showing only good results in the top ten results for google. But unfortunately, there are lot of funny websites that spoilt the name of celebrities by writing rumours and gossip about them. Forget celebrities, sometimes even normal people find it difficult to manage online reputation because of bad websites using their names or names similar to theirs. After all, google doesnt know who is legit and who is not so it ranks all, and sometimes, it's the reputation of the real person which gets tarnished.

A example to online reputation management is Uday Dutt who is an investment banker in India. He had names similar to his name published on other websites which were irrelavant to his job. He wanted people to find his site - Udaydutt.com while searching on Google.

Do you know how he made that possible? He used SEO to his rescue. He used search engine optimization to optimize his website and outrank the other irrelevant websites for the search term "Uday Dutt".

It was not easy, but ORM really helped him a lot.First he had to use SEO to get his name out there on the internet through Google. Then he had to build some sites and profiles to ensure he has lot of backlinks. He also maintained profiles on social media sites which helped him to flush out other irrelevant results on the SERPs. Hiring an SEO wasn't easy because he had not only to SEO for his own site, but also ten others and raise them to top positions on Google. So that's 10x the normal work.

Last but not the least, he had to do some onsite optimization on his own website to leverage and make it come to the top on Google

So, ORM is the new face of SEO, and much discussed about on SEO blogs on the internet.
